Marion is 100th CPA Adopter!

Marion residents voted yesterday to adopt the CPA by a wide margin (71% of the vote), making that town the 100th community in Massachusetts to adopt the CPA in just under five years since the program was initiated.

With this final election of the spring now complete, there were a total of 27 elections, 25 of which were successful, for an adoption rate of 93%. Full election results are availble here.

The Community Preservation Coalition has issued a press release announcing this momentous event and giving an overview of implementation during the first five years of the program.
