The towns and cities shown in green on the map below have adopted the Community Preservation Act as of May 2013. Thus far, 216 Massachusetts communities have put CPA on the ballot. Of those, 155 communities (44 percent of the state's municipalities) have passed CPA. This represents a 72 percent adoption success rate.
Communities in green have adopted CPA. Communities in yellow have CPA adoption on an upcoming ballot. Communities in orange have moved to increase their CPA surcharge, to be voted on at their next ballot election.
