What is the best way to handle scheduling and advertising of the public hearing? We have been having one in advance of each town meeting where we recommend funding, but it's been pointed out that the law only requires one hearing per year. How do other communities handle it? How specific do you get with projects and how much effort do you make to get people to attend?
