Greetings, At our last Bedford CPC meeting, we discussed the problems with properties coming onto the market and then selling before the CPC can react. I understand that there are nonprofit groups who will purchase conservation land and hold it until the CPC can go to Town Meeting and get the monies approved. Are there nonprofit groups who will do the same for affordable housing and historic properties? Are there property size limitations? The idea is that the nonprofit group purchases the property and then transfer the property over when the town can approve the funding. Thanks Jeff Scott Hoyland
