Gosnold and Middleborough Town Meetings vote to put CPA on the ballot

6/17/2010: Two communities in southeastern Massachusetts - the island town of Gosnold and Middleborough - recently acted to put CPA on their municipal ballots for the upcoming November 2, 2010 state election. If Gosnold chooses to adopt CPA in November, it will be the last remaining Cape & Islands community without the Act to embrace it. Meanwhile, the large agricultural community of Middleborough has recently seen proposals advanced for development of a large casino within its bounds, which may be spurring interest in adoption of CPA.
