DOR Releases Bulletin on New Online Community Preservation Initiatives Report (Online CP-3 Form)

The Massachusetts Department of Revenue released a new Bulletin today, Bulletin 2008 08B, which outlines new annual reporting requirements for communities that have adopted the Community Preservation Act. According to Bulletin 2008 08B, communities must now submit an online report detailing all approved CPA projects in order to receive their matching funds from the statewide CPA Trust Fund.  CPA projects must be entered by the Community Preservation Committee (CPC) in a new online CPA database prior to September 15th, in order for the community to receive its matching funds on October 15th each year. CPCs should identify a point person to complete the form.
