Three CPA Projects Win 2011 MHC Preservation Awards

June 20, 2011: Three CPA projects have been recognized by the Massachusetts Historical Commission (MHC) in their Preservation Awards program.

The towns of Sandwich, Provincetown, and Rockport all recieved awards -- Sandwich and Provincetown for their recently rehabilitated town halls, and Rockport for the restoration and rehabilitation of the Rockport Community House, the town's first high school, constructed in 1865. William F. Galvin, Secretary of the Commonwealth, and Brona Simon, MHC Executive Director, presented the awards in a special ceremony at the Massachusetts Archives on May 25, 2011.
