Important CPA Reporting Deadline Approaching

August 24, 2011: The September 15th deadline for your community to report on the CPA projects approved during fiscal year 2011 is fast approaching.  The Department of Revenue (DOR) will delay sending your CPA trust fund disbursement if this information is not reported by September 15th.

Please note that as of last year, there is a new, easier-to-use website address to input your FY2011 projects, as the previous website has developed compatibility issues with some web browsers.

Here are the important things to remember:

  • You must enter all projects that were approved by your legislative body during the 2011 Fiscal Year  (July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011).
  • You'll also want to look through all of your projects from previous fiscal years.  Please update the "status" box for older projects, and also be sure the information is complete.
  • Only appropriations for projects should be entered in the database. Don't enter appropriations for administrative costs or transfers to the historic, open space or housing reserve accounts.
  • Bonded projects are entered in the year they are approved by the legislative body, using the full bonded amount.  Don't enter subsequent annual payments on the bond.

To begin reporting your projects, visit the online CP-3 application.
