Westhampton to vote on CPA in November

August 31, 2012: Westhampton, a small community in western Massachusetts, will consider adopting CPA with a 3% surcharge and exemptions for low-income households and the first $100,000 of residential property value. As in Canton, Westhampton organizers used a ballot question petition to put CPA on the ballot, gathering signatures from at least 5% of registered voters. For a full list of communities deciding on adoption, see our webpage on upcoming elections.
