Stoneham May Become the 156th CPA Community

April 2, 2013: CPA supporters in Stoneham hope for good news today, when residents vote on CPA adoption at the town's April 2nd election. CPA is on the ballot at 1%, with exemptions for low- and moderate-income seniors, and the first $100,000 of commercial and industrial property value.

"It's a very reasonable and modest approach to helping our community and receiving state aid," advocated Martha Panther Buckley of the community organization Support Our Stoneham to the Boston Globe's John Laidler, who reported on the upcoming vote last month.
