The Coalition is Seeking Nominations

The Community Preservation Coalition is pleased to announce The Third Annual Kuehn Community Preservation Awards, taking place on January 14, 2014 at the Massachusetts State House’s Great Hall. The Kuehn Community Preservation Awards were developed to honor the memory and work of Robert H. Kuehn, Jr.

The program will honor ten "Community Preservation Heroes," individuals who have been significant contributors to the success of CPA, and whose work best exemplifies the spirit of Bob Kuehn's legacy.

Bob was actively involved in the process of drafting and passing the Community Preservation Act (CPA), signed into law in the fall of 2000. Bob was also one of the founders and main supporters of the Community Preservation Coalition, and served as Vice Chair of its Steering Committee until his death in June of 2006.

How to Submit a CPA Hero Nomination

Would you like to nominate an individual who has made a significant contribution to the ability of your community to preserve its character and special places using CPA, or who has had an impact statewide in furthering the CPA?

Award recipients will be announced in early winter, and all ten Community Preservation Heroes will be honored at a ceremony in January 2014. Award judges will include members of the Community Preservation Coalition Steering Committee.
