Fall River to Vote on CPA this November

June 13, 2012: Fall River City Council voted last night, Tuesday, June 12th, to put CPA adoption on the November 6th, 2012 ballot. Fall River voters will have the opportunity to implement a 1.5% CPA property tax surcharge, with exemptions for the first $100,000 of residential property value and low-income and low- and moderate-income senior homeowners. Fall River voters will now join voters in the communities of Beverly, Great Barrington, Milton, and Somerset in considering adoption of CPA in the presidential elections this coming fall.
