Remembering Wellfleet's Barbara Gray: CPA and Preservation Champion Leaves Lasting Impact

June 30, 2014: CPA lost a dedicated advocate recently with the passing of former State Representative and Wellfleet Community Preservation Committee member Barbara Gray, 86.
Gray began her career in politics in the 1970s and kept active long after her retirement. On Beacon Hill, Gray advocated for women's rights and environmental protection, among other topics. Later in life, after moving to Cape Cod, Gray continued to work on community issues as Planning Board Chair and member of the Community Preservation Committee.
