To continue the CPC commitment of a Community Preservation Town Planner.  The Planner is responsible for assisting with the implementation of the Town’s Community Preservation programs.  The Planner shall oversee (or manage) CPA plans and budget as well as be charged with the “smart growth” planning and economic initiatives.  The Planner also helps Randolph expand the tax base.  The Planner shall: seek out new economic opportunities while retaining existing businesses; Develop projects that: create jobs, improve economic wealth, and provide better quality of life for all our citizens with an emphasis on Community Preservation principles. 
 The Community Preservation Town Planner will report to the Town Manager and work collaboratively with the CPA Committee, Planning Board and Conservation Commission.
