CPA funding for the purchase of a Conservation Restriction (CR), to be held jointly with a qualified nonprofit organization, on a 23 -acre parcel known as the O’Brien Farm, located at 18 Vose Road, Westford. The CR would permanently prohibit future development, while allowing the land to be used for conservation, recreation, limited agriculture, forestry, and educational purposes. Public access would be permitted. The CR has been appraised at $1,275,000, and the applicant is requesting $760,000 in CPA funds, which is 60% of the appraised fair market value.
