Preservation and relocation of the original safe (c. 1920-1930) from the Roberta Doering Middle School, originally the Agawam High School, believed to have been installed when the school was built in 1921.The safe is adorned with a hand painted mural and decorative elements: “Town of Agawam” , “F.A. Hyde & Co., Boston” and border decoration. Safe relocated to the Agawam Historical and Fire House Museum.
