On approximately 12.5 acres of previously transferred land from the Town of Falmouth to the Falmouth Rod and Gun Club, the project goal is to rehabilitate and restore Upper Childs River and restore Farley Bog to a wetlands habitat. The total project construction cost is $1,007,562. CPA funds will be used for removal of impounded sediment and development of a new channel through the former impoundment. This project received $150,000 in a prior CPA appropriation for engineering, removal of the earthen dam, and partial removal of impounded sediment.
