CPA Projects – Detailed Report

This project will provide engineering, permitting, and MassDOT funding application services to construct a .8-mile extension of the existing Shining Sea Bikeway from its current terminus at County Road in No. Falmouth along the existing rail line to the Falmouth/Bourne town line. When constructed, the Shining Sea Bikeway Extension will include a 10-12-foot-wide path, retaining wall, wood railings, landscape screening, and improvements to the existing trail head parking area. The finished project goal is to connect with Bourne's proposed 6-mile extension from Cape Cod Canal to the Falmouth/Bourne town line.
