This project will develop a historic structures report on the property that is located at 744 Main Street, once called the Falmouth Poor House after the building was relocated from elsewhere in town in 1812. The structure is recognized at both state and federal levels as a significant structure and has received National Register distinction. It is the last existing "poor house" on Cape Cod. The historic structures report will provide information on the building itself as well as how best to re-purpose it for use while observing compliance with The Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
