CPA Projects – Detailed Report

In the fall of 2019,the Cambridge Redevelopment Authority (CRA) purchased 93-99 Bishop Allen Drive, a brick row built in 1855 that has been a center for social services for over 50 years. While the building remains a bustling site for social services, it suffers from deferred maintenance. CPA funds will support a multi-million dollar renovation project that the CRA plans to undertake during the first half of 2021. The building’s historic preservation needs include masonry repointing, brick repair and infill, lintel repair, lintel replacement, brownstone windowsill repair and replacement, vinyl siding removal and window repair.
