CPA Projects – Detailed Report

DJ Simmonds grew up in Randolph, graduated from Randolph High School and became a police officer.  After the 2014 Boston Marathon Bombing, Sergeant Simmonds was injured during the shootout in Watertown while pursuing the individuals responsible for the bombing and later passed away.  Where Angels Play Foundation, whose mission is to spread honor and facilitate healing,  will build a playground in his honor. This funding will go to the preparation of the space in Belcher Park to make the installation possible. Some of the work to be funded includes: trees needing to be removed, excavation and grading, partial re-routing of irrigation and supplies for the day of the build.
