Affordable Housing Trust Block Grant of $595,000 will be used towards the following items listed below: RAP (Rental Assistance Program) provides 'rental assistance' for low income renters in Georgetown, ensuring the renters expend no more than 30% of net income for housing. This short-term program has been available to Georgetown renters for many years and continues to run with great success. Lottery Listing Agent and Advertisement Costs - to hire a certified lottery listing agent to resell affordable unit(s) and/or rent affordable unit(s) in Georgetown according to DHCD guidelines. Staff and Administrative Salary and Development - Covers salary and state conferences, trainings, certifications, etc.. Maintain AHT Equipment and Office Supplies. Maintain current affordable units. To Capitalize on opportunities to create new ownership/rental housing. To invest in development of lend/housing development.
