To fund the replacement of playground equipment at the Dartmouth Regional Park. Funds for this project will be used to replace the existing playground equipment which is outdated and not in compliance with current standards. The current playground equipment has outlived its useful life of 10 years. Since its installation, accessibility and safety codes have changed. With the installation of the new playground equipment, the playground will be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act [“ADA”] and meet current safety standards. The total cost of the project is estimated to be $1,034,172 with half of the project costs funded through the town’s Capital Improvement Plan and Parks and Recreation operating.
