To restore the Research Library at 7 Fair Street taking the following steps, installation of new boilers, new condenser, update sewer connection, HDC and building Department permits, ICC-ICR conservation plan, Architect's plans, new draining system, Comcast and sprinkler system relocations, concrete restoration, window restoration and finish carpentry, new HVAC controls, Fire suppression for the vault, roofing and relocation of the electrical lines. The CPC request is for the highlighted items as the NHA will fund the other items.

This is the continuing effort to restore this building in stages. This part of the project includes the removal of the treatment in front of the building to the rubble, plaster under the stairs, and replacing the cobble foundation, restore the wood flooring in the attic, with the major work being the restoration of the interior paster walls and the repainting with paint to recreate the original painting done on the walls.

Matching funds for a MassWorks grant to enhance pedestrian access around the Winslow Waterfall of Flint Pond in the Town's Center. Includes pedestrian bridge, viewing deck, and other open space enhancements

Rehabilitation, Preservation & Restoration of the Cranberry Bog Dam #1. Restoration of existing Dam to stabilize the upstream bank and crest in order to protect the ponds, trails, and wildlife of the Cranberry Bog. #2023-001

Request for funding for the treatment of new invasive species in Lake Massapoag. The cost of this project will be shared between the towns of Dunstable, Tyngsborough, and Groton, as well as the Lake Massapoag Rod and Gun club.

In 2021, the Town purchased Emery Woods and Drew Landing. Emery Woods has 1600 feet of frontage on Salmon Brook (annually stocked by Mass Fish and Game), and a vast trail system that ties into the Helen Hogg Conservation land. Species often seen are beaver, kingfisher, heron, ducks, bank swallows, towhees and several specials of turtles. Currently, access to the 48-acre Emery parcel is by canoe or parking on High Street and walking 1764 feet through dense woods. The Conservation Commission purchased the Drew parcel with the plan of building a boardwalk to Emery Woods. There is also ample parking at the Drew parcel. The construction phase of this project is contingent on receiving a Mass Trails Grant.

The Town Conservation Commission purchased the "Shaw Conservation Area" for conservation purposes in the mid 1970's. This purchase included the pond and dam site/water rights. Adjacent property was purchased by the Town for recreational purposes and trail access. The historic dam created the mill pond which powered both the saw and grist mills, previously owned by the Woodward family and provided one of the reasons for the location of the center of Town. The pond created by this historic dam is regularly used for fishing, boating, and ice skating. Phase I assessment has reclassified the Dam from a "Low" to "Significant" hazard potential and in need of further assessment. Phase II assessment will lead to design/rehab. alternatives.

This funding will support hiring a planning consultant or architect to facilitate and support the work of the Union School Rehabilitation Committee in establishing a long-term plan for restoration, rehabilitation, estimating costs, and developing an approach for the future use and availability of funding for the historic Union School.

Creation of a rental assistance program for applicants and residents of the Grafton Housing Authority to combat housing insecurity.
