This is the same method of handling these as for all of the previous "Historic Properties Preservation Fund" projects.

Remodeling, reconstructing and making extraordinary repairs to the Town Hall. This building had previously been a school in the Town and is historic.

Reconstruction of the Old Burial Ground's southern stone wall using funds previously appropriated into the "Historic Properties Preservation Fund" articles dated 3/25/08. $22,500 was transferred from into this new article for the specific project leaving a balance of $174,099 in the article dated 3/25/08.

Significant exterior preservation work to the 103 year-old historic pump house. Work would include shingles and roofing, rebuilding of the chimney, and repointing of the brick masonry below the windows.

To update and refurbish the irrigation systems at Town fields by the DPW, including new clocks with software at 17 locations. This is expected to decrease water usage by approximately 20% and reduce staff time needed.

Replace Cooling Tower and pump for the historic Police Station building. $15,847 to be paid from CPA and $53,414 from the tax levy.

Transferred from Project # 3486 and 6031-Historic Properties Preservation Fund by 2/18/14 vote of Board of Selectmen. Further design services for the historic Town Hall building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design. Project # 11

Fund a 2-year pilot program to form a collaborative between the Bedford Housing Authority and a social services provider to assist families and individuals who live in Bedford Housing Authority units with obtaining access to various life management skills, job training and educational programs, and job referrals.

Transferred from Project # 3486-Historic Properties Preservation Fund, by 10/21/2013 vote of Board of Selectmen.

Construction/installation of an artificial turf playing surface at Sabourin Football Field.

Final Landscaping of the area around the reconstruction of Wilson Mill Dam. Design & Installation of native plants.

Transferred from Project #3486-Historic Properties Preservation Fund by 1/14/2013 vote of Board of Selectmen.

Transferred $64,713 from Project #3476 and $10,287 from Project #3486-Historic Properties Preservation Fund by 7/16/2012 vote of Board of Selectmen.

Design and completion of acoustical treatment, ceiling and window plaster repair, light fixture replacements, sound system upgrades, stair reconstruction and painting. $71,612 transferred out and included in funding of CP-3 Project 42830, voted 11/6/14 for full Town Hall Building Systems replacement (Orig appropriation of $76865, transfer out $71,612, leaving expended balance of $5,253 in original project).

Application to National Park Service to enlarge the existing National Register District to include homes on Concord, South, Springs Rd, portion of Billerica and Bedford Rail Bed, Fletcher Rd, Crescent Ave and Veterans Memorial Park.

Reconstruction of Old Reservoir Dam including removal of trees, installation of new spillway, reinforcing up/down stream slopes of Dam and restoration of the ring well.

Removal of existing wood floor, refastening and repair of subfloor/install underlayment, soundproofing and new maple flooring.

Addtional funding for construction of new dam upstream to protect archaeological remains of old dam/mill building & creation of picnic area.
