This recreation project will study the possible rehabilitation and restoration of the bleachers at Spy Pond Field. This study will survey the existing site conditions to properly analyze possible re-use or repurposing of the current structure, document the historical significance, evaluate ways to make the existing structure compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), investigate, draw, and price out the reuse of the current structure or a newly constructed structure, and gather public feedback on the project. The existing structure is beyond its useful life and is in serious disrepair. Doing nothing is not an option as further deterioration will result in safety concerns.
