The funding has been made for the restoration for the approximately 120-years-old stained glass windows that need attention in the short term in order to prevent further damage. |

Funding has been made to the preservation, restoration, and protection of the original historic features including window frames, rotted clapboards, and trim elements on the 1732 main house, the ca. 1750 tavern ell, and the early 19th-century west ell. It also includes some selective repointing of the foundation, replacement of the wood shingle roof on the 1870s north ell, and the historically-appropriate replacement of some 20th- century features that have deteriorated beyond repair. The Jones Tavern has received CPA grants in prior years to restore its four brick chimneys and replace a portion of its roof. There is an existing historic preservation restriction and the historic preservation restriction may need to be updated. |
