Preservation and restoration of the Meetinghouse including foundation work; restoration of doors, windows, and siding; new handicap ramp; mechanical upgrades. This is one of the earliest unaltered structures built in Yarmouth.

With the acquisition of the former Yapp farm site, consisting of 28+ acres, the Open Space Committee and the CPC want to provide parking so that town volunteers can construct trails for the residents to enjoy. The Dracut Engineering Dept is designing the parking lot, wetlands have been flagged and the DPW and/or general contractors may complete the work on the site. about 5-6 parking spaces are anticipated.

The Town of Billerica has been moving ahead on the design for the Yankee Doodle Bike Path. The Town is currently at the 25% design stage and is seeking to advance to 75% design stage. The CPA funds will be used to advance the recreational initiatives laid out in Billerica’s Open Space and Recreational Plan to “Improve, expand, and increase access to active and passive recreational opportunities.”

Installation of safety netting at Red Wilson Field at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School. This is a regional project with the Town of Dennis.

Completion of playing fields on a 74 acre lot. This has been a long term project with significant private funds along the way. Total over $2 million.

Restore World War II monument on the Common located in front of the town's historic Town Hall

Houghs Neck Garden Club overseeing the rehabilitation of the grounds of the WWII Memorial including landscape improvements as well as the installation of engraved bricks.

Restoration of the WWI Minenwerfer Canon given to veterans of WWI to commemorate their service in the war. The project will be complete by November 2018, the 100th Anniversary of the end of WWI

Rehabilitation of the Tennis courts in the Wenham Village Improvements Society's Tea House open to all Wenham residents, specifically to repair cracks, resurface the court, and significantly extend the life of the courts and all incidental and related expenses

The development of soccer fields on town owned land

Historic rehabilitation of the exterior façade of 106-120 High Street to include historically appropriate windows, masonry restoration, and the installation of an accessible entrance (ramp and door) for 120 High Street.

Installation of trees and shrubs at Wright's Pond.

The Wright Tavern Legacy Trust and the Trustees of Parish Donations for First Parish Church received funding for consultation and design services from historic preservation advisors, architects and structural engineers; for the installation of moister barriers in crawl space; updating wiring; installing new subfloor and plaster in attic; supporting ridge beams in annex; removal of spalling brick in the basement; and repointing the foundation of Wright Tavern.

The Trustees of Donations for First Parish Church are continuing the restoration of the ca. 1747 national landmark by restoring its existing wood windows, stabilizing and refinising an original door on the side of the building, and installing new copper gutters.

To bond up to $900,000 and to appropriate an amount equal to the difference between $1,320,000 and the amount bonded for the purchase of approximately 14 acres of open space for conservation purposes. Seller: Wright Hill Association, L.L.C.

CPA funds will be used for supplemental hazardous materials testing in the vicinity of the historic Wright Farm Barn as well as preparation of architectural and design bid documents. Barn stabilization and mothballing activities per the design and bid documents will also be completed. The Conservation Commission, upon the recommendation of the Wright Farm Barn Advisory Subcommittee, would like to see the barn preserved for use as a year-round multi-purpose public building.

To rehabilitate the Wright Building, a 1907 structure that has been deteriorating and vacant for a number of years. It will serve as an archive and a teen center. Will bond for up to two years.

For the exterior rehabilitation of 3 Water Street in Woods Hole in an historically appropriate manner

Renovate the historic WPA bldg. contructed in the late 1930's. Anticipated uses are a visitors' center, as it is adjacent to the Greenbush Line, meeting space for town and civic agencies. Scituate Visitor's Center, Inc. has been granted a 9 year lease and expects the building to be self sustaining.

To bring power to the property for the pumps that support the Community Gardens and agricultural field. Also for lighting and ventilation for a low hoop house for season extension and future projects.
