$1290 to refurbish the cellar hole and well runoff area at the Calvin Swan Homestead, to repair the extensive wet seepage area in the trail that circles behind the cellar holes, and to redirect water from eroding the nearby road. Calvin Swan was a noted freeborn African-American carpenter and sawmill owner in Northfield. The remains of his homestead are part of the Brush Mountain Conservation Area and is accessible by an old logging road (the original path of the MM Trail) from the parking area on Gulf Road.

Storm windows to protect the antique windows which were restored when Town Hall was renovated. The old windows are not energy efficient and storm windows are necessary to protect the windows.

In the course of recent library renovations, three historic oil paintings by artist William Willard were found to be in need of restoration and CPA will fund this restoration.

Cost associated with purchasing and installing lighting on the Town Barn Field.

Outbuilding removal on CPA purchased properties, to restore the land to it's original state. Buildings are in dilapidated and dangerous to people and toxic to the environment.

Professional preservation of three volumes of Stoughton historical documents, some over 300 years old. This is Stoughton's share of a joint project with Canton.

HOPP offers grants to eligible low-income first-time home buyers tp purchase an existing market rate home in Westport. Participating homes will be restricted in perpetuity.

Creation of affordable housing in response to Williamstown's ongoing need for additional affordable units 7/1/20-6/30/21

The Williamstown Affordable Housing Trust and Berkshire Housing Development Corp are partnering to distribute emergency rental assistance to eligible Williamstown residents who have suffered financial setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Emergency grants up to $1000 will be distributed to qualified applicants.

Funding would allow continued use of affordable housing consultant services made available through an inter-municipal agreement made with several area communities or through other procurement contracts for such services.

To temporarily assist with rental payments for qualified individuals who have experienced loss of income due to the pandemic. The full $300,000.00 will be returned to the Town's CPA account. Any monies spent has been reimbursed by the CARES Act.

The Berkshire Rowing Association sought funds to replace a publicly accessible dock at Onota Lake.

This project is a follow on to last year's award, which restored the roof of the building. This project is to begin the facade restoration process on the theater.

This process involves developing an historic inventory form for the space and feasibility/design work on how to better layout their space to serve the community at large.

This project includes the replacement and restoration of the beach area at Burbank Park.

The Chelsea City Hall clock tower is badly deteriorated and in overall poor condition. Several times each year during storms water penetrates the building through the tower and damages the conference room below it. This project would address all deferred maintenance issues and correct all known deficiencies.

This historic building was the second M.E. church in the city, built in 1831. It now serves as the headquarters for numerous Cape Verdean organizations. This project will fund the installation of a new roof, structural support, and if sufficient funds remain, the installation of new gutters and downspouts.

The Milton Silvia Negative Collection contains over 100,000 negatives, his work as a Standard Times photographer for 40 years during which he recorded the history and culture of the region This project will fund the preservation, archiving, and digitizing of the negatives. The collection will be made publicly available through various on-line platforms.

The Gilbert Russell House is located in the County Street Historic District and is one of the oldest properties in New Bedford. Owned by The Women's Center, Inc., the building serves as their administrative offices. This project funds the exterior rehabilitation, preservation, and painting of this historic building.

A Master Plan for the restoration and improvement of the 23 acre Hazelwood Park was completed in 2016 and several of its goals implemented during Phase 1. This project request is for Phase 2 item - the purchase and installation of a historically accurate wooden fence and gate which will surround and protect the restored bowling greens, a FY19 CPA project.
