This project seeks to secure 100 new units of affordable housing in Somerville through purchasing existing multi-family properties and converting them to affordable housing. To date, this phase of the project has secured 11 units in three properties. In addition to the housing restriction recorded below, the following restrictions were recorded at the Middlesex South Registry of Deeds: 1. January 18, 2018 Book/page 70527/64, Somerville Affordable Housing Trust Fund 3. July 13, 2018 Book/page 71315/196 Somerville Affordable Housing Trust Fund

The City of Somerville Land Acquisition Study Fund will make funds available for the City to explore the feasibility of acquiring parcels for acquisition for open space and recreation land. The fund will support appraisals, environmental studies, surveys, and other preliminary studies necessary to determine if a parcel is a good candidate for acquisition and gather the necessary information to prepare a full proposal for submission to the Community Preservation Committee for CPA funding or directly to the Board of Aldermen for funding through non-CPA sources.

The Somerville Homeless Coalition will expand the PASS program, which provides rental assistance for up to two years, housing move-in assistance, supportive case management, and follow-up stabilization services to Somerville residents at risk of falling into homelessness, to approximately seven additional households.

For an open space purchase from the state.

A 1.32 acre is appropriate for a house in the range of affordable . The Housing Authority will oversee the use of this property to achieve this goal.

Southampton's Open Space Committee created a flyer to be mailed to every house h0ld in Town to explain what the Aquifer is, where it is and why it is necessary to protect it.

The Clark Chapmen House, so named for two families important to the history of the Town. The Historical Society owns the property with many Town artefacts stood there. The rooms are furnished for different time periods. The schools and other groups visit regularly. It is in need of restoration, especially the roof and some wall deterioration is taking place.

The Conservation applied for a Mass Trails Grant which h requires a 20% matching payment from the Town.It would continue the work following the trails restoration.

Purchase of 14 acres of land that is the recharge area for the Town's main well. Property description: Lot 1E, Lot 2E, Lot 3E, Lot 4E, and Lot 5E on a plan entitled "Plan of Land in Southampton, MA, Surveyed for John & Donna Gwosch," dated December 27, 2018, prepared by Heritage Surveys, Inc., recorded with the Hampshire Registry of Deeds in Plan Book 243, Page 77, containing approximately 14.382 acres of land, provided, however, Lot 2E may be acquired pursuant to the Town's statutory right of first refusal under MA General Laws Chapter 62, Section 8.

The purchase of 84.75 acres of land for open space.

The doors to one entrance of the historic building, now used as the Town Hall need to be restored as they have weathered.

This is for the Town's share of a matching grant for restorations and cleaning Revolutionary War and Civil War veterans' graves.

The parks need updated signs at the parks and street signs are needed to mark locations.

This project will restore the Town Clock by replacing the missing hand and updating the master clock.

An historic barn on town owned land under the supervision of the Conservation Commission is in need of repairs. The first step needed was to stabilize the barn to prevent more deterioration.

Additional work was needed to complete the Labrie Fields

When an historic building was used to create a new Town Hall, no railings were installed along the access ramp to the main door, creating a potential danger to those using the ramp, especially in inclement weather.

The New Town Hall is an historical building in the center of town. The doors to both the Town Hall part and to the Senior Center do not allow for access for those with disabilities without someone helping them.

The grave stones of a husband, the first minister, and his wife will be restored and will include a bronze plaque which will be inscribed with the original information.

There are historical items pertinent to the town which are stored in the closed Old Town Hall. They will be moved for preservation and display to the New Town Hall.

Creation of hiking trails at the Town owned Whittemore Conservation Area

The large Civil War monument is in need of preservation and restoration.
