Randolph Randolph Dog Park

The CPA funded the creation of the Randolph Dog Park back in 2011 and supported improvements/maintenance over the years. The dog park is in need of some fencing repairs and replacements around the perimeter and within the park itself. Mulch and stone will be added throughout the park to replace that which has worn away over time.

Randolph Theodore Luddington Memorial Park

The Theodore Luddington Memorial Park is located between the Turner Free Library and the Randolph Central Fire Station. Some of the existing materials will be re-used and re-worked to create an ADA accessible walkway from Memorial Parkway to Turner Lane. This will enhance pedestrian safety and allow for the creation of a patio area with benches and table games for residents of all ages to enjoy.

Fall River Fall River Historical Society

This award is for a complete replacement of the structure's Mansard roof area including PVC membrane, slate roof, gutter replacement, repair windows, shutters, pilasters and brackets. The project will include painting and repairing the Mansard roof ironwork. This mansion is a significant example of French second Empire style. This structure was originally located a number of miles from its present location and its large granite blocks were moved and reconstructed at the current site. The museum receives many visitors, scholars and shoppers and it sponsors many well attended events.

Malden Converse Memorial Building Archive

The goal of this project is to restore and rehabilitate a basement area of the Malden Public Library to create a climate controlled, secure area for archives storage. This phase of the project is for the purchase and installation of mobile, condensed shelving to increase storage capacity in the archives storage room. The project will fund purchase and installation of mobile shelving for the safe and secure environment for the storage of the largest collection of historical materials in the City.

Falmouth Bell Tower Tennis Courts

This project rehabilitates two existing tennis courts and one tennis backboard with two newly constructed tennis courts lined for both tennis and pickleball and one new tennis backboard. Post-tensioned concrete will be used in the new construction. The project includes new posts, tennis nets, tennis backboard and black vinyl perimeter fencing. An ADA accessible path will be constructed from the parking lot to the tennis courts. All construction will be in accordance with ADA and MAAB regulations.

This project seeks to create a Master Plan for Patchell Park located in the Oak Grove area of Malden. Some necessary updates need to be made to address overgrowth and safety concerns in the recent expansion of the park into the Glen Rock Road right-of-way and an evaluation of the playground to meet current codes, surfacing requirements and community interests.
