Repairs to historic brick wall. Phase 1 funded by CPC.

Purchase of historic building at 8 Adams Street (Adams Academy) and adjacent parcels integral in preserving the historic character of the Academy.

Research, planning and preliminary design for the development of a citywide pedestrian trail connecting all three of the city's peninsulas with Quincy Center, Neponset River Watershed, Fore River Watershed and the Blue Hills Reservation.

The CPA funded the creation of the Randolph Dog Park back in 2011 and supported improvements/maintenance over the years. The dog park is in need of some fencing repairs and replacements around the perimeter and within the park itself. Mulch and stone will be added throughout the park to replace that which has worn away over time.

This award is for a complete replacement of the structure's Mansard roof area including PVC membrane, slate roof, gutter replacement, repair windows, shutters, pilasters and brackets. The project will include painting and repairing the Mansard roof ironwork. This mansion is a significant example of French second Empire style. This structure was originally located a number of miles from its present location and its large granite blocks were moved and reconstructed at the current site. The museum receives many visitors, scholars and shoppers and it sponsors many well attended events.

Comprehensive preservation of sensitive artifacts at the Wellfleet Historical Society Museum with upgrades of HVAC, shelving, lighting and security.

This project rehabilitates two existing tennis courts and one tennis backboard with two newly constructed tennis courts lined for both tennis and pickleball and one new tennis backboard. Post-tensioned concrete will be used in the new construction. The project includes new posts, tennis nets, tennis backboard and black vinyl perimeter fencing. An ADA accessible path will be constructed from the parking lot to the tennis courts. All construction will be in accordance with ADA and MAAB regulations.

This project is the third and last phase of the rehabilitation of Guv Fuller Field. The total project includes excavating and replacing dugouts with ADA access, installing safety netting and new backstop, safety padding and gates, and purchasing and installing replacement aluminum bleachers and associated walkways with ADA accessible improvements. This project augments the previously appropriated $766,106 of CPA funding over two phases.

Additional funds to replace the roof at Beaverbrook Apartments due to a significant price increase in materials, COVID safety precautions, and the discovery of hazardous materials.

This project seeks to create a Master Plan for Patchell Park located in the Oak Grove area of Malden. In coordination with Shadley Associates, FOOGI and Paul Sieswerda will work with the community to create a plan that addresses the needed rehabilitation and restoration of the park. Some necessary updates need to be made to address overgrowth and safety concerns in the recent expansion of the park into the Glen Rock Road right-of-way and an evaluation of the playground to meet current codes, surfacing requirements and community interests.

The scope of the project includes restoration of the front steps and entrance porticos. The Zen Center is located in a frame row house built in 1871 and may include remnants of a much older house.
