Renovation of tennis courts in Bay neighborhood

Funding to complete the 100% design phase for the North River Canal Wall Rehabilitation and Riverwalk Project, known as the Riverwalk. This project will develop a riverwalk along the south side of the North River creating a new open space amenity in downtown Peabody, address flooding concerns, and continue the city's ongoing revitalization efforts to spur investment and economic investment in the area.

Restoration of wooden windows, including various stained glass windows (non-religious iconography), at church designed in 1892 by Metcalf & Hoyt.

Replace the roof on the Lombardi Building, a municipal building

Restore masonry steps and repair one buttress at the 1874 church designed by Patrick W. Ford. The church is individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Replace roof on significant wood-frame building constructed as a stable in 1895 and converted to a church in 1917.

Acquisition of 5 ANR lots (~5.5 acres total) adjacent to Mt Tom State Reservation and threatened due to proposed single-family housing development

In 2016, YWCA was awarded $150,000 of CPA funds to develop the YWCA at Hillside. Since then, the project has experienced some delays. The overall planning for Hillside Center for Sustainable Living took longer than anticipated after permitting was completed. One of the major changes which resulted from the project planning phase was to adopt the Passive Housing Institute Standards of the US. Hillside decided to develop the project in compliance with these, more rigorous, standards which was not originally anticipated. These design changes contributed to the delay in construction of YWCA at Hillside. YWCA at Hillside, when completed, will be a 10 unit lodging house that is designed to meet Passive Housing Institute Standards of the US and be net zero. This led to a series of engineering issues that needed to be solved, for example, air flow, heating, cooling and de-humidification. Both the delays themselves and the technical solutions to the mechanical issues resulted in additional costs to the project. The YWCA is requesting CPA funding to help close project funding gaps.

This project will hire design consultants to complete site analysis, feasibility studies, design development plans, landscape plans, construction documents, cost estimates, and construction observation work necessary to take the field improvement projects at the Russ Halloran Sports & Recreation Complex, McGrath Park, Burr School Fields, Brown/Oak Hill Middle School Fields, Forte Park, and Upper Falls Playground (Braceland Park) from the design development phase through project completion.

Renovation of vacant, deteriorated apartment building.

The project will regrade a portion of the eroded Watson Park bank immediately adjacent to the Fore River, plant salt-tolerant vegetation, salt marsh restoration between the regraded bank and the River, an earthen-berm / walking path for flood protection, and Park-side rain-garden installations for stormwater management

Restoration of Victory Theatre murals with the inclusion of a temporary public exhibition viewable by the public until the Victory Theatre itself is fully restored so that the murals can be returned to the Theatre.

documentation and preservation of the Hampshire and Hampden portions of the New Haven and Northampton Canal, Cooperative effort with all Massachusetts communities in which the canal was located.

Additional funds to purchase picnic tables for the elementary school pavilion

Additional funds for preservation and/or rehabilitation of the historic four pillars in front of Town Hall

Transfer $100,000 from the CPA Housing Fund to the Hadley Affordable Housing Trust

Design services to develop a passive recreation park on land located at 95 North Street and donated specifically for this purpose.
