Development of a walking trail and enhanced public access to include construction of viewing platforms and a kayak landing.

Funds to replace the roof, windows, and door on the 100 year old Taylor Bray cottage. Replace the roof on the garden shed and small barn.

Design and engineering of Phase 2 of the Taylor Bray Farm Barn

Phase 1 Structural Repairs to the Taylor Bray Farm Barn including a new foundation and structural reinforcements.

To replace the perimeter and interior animal fencing of the 2 œ acre pasture area which serves Scottish Highland cattle, goats, miniature donkeys, and sheep. The Association's three annual public events attract approximately 3,500 visitors annually.

Phase 6 of archeological work at Taylor-Bray Farm

This CPA award shall be used to serve individuals that can demonstrate a financial hardship that impacts their housing. The funds will also be used to assist households that are on the brink of homelessness or eviction due to other unforeseen financial hardships. The expiration of this award shall be December 31, 2023.

The projcet is an expansion of the Teak Sherman Community Garden Project. Funds will provide for an increase in new currently unused acreage availabble for the community garden and supplies for the expansion and growth of the fledgling community garden project

Temple B'nai Brith will add a fire safety sprinkler system and elevator to its 1922 Byzantine Revival building.

Temple Emmanuel is a significant historical asset for the Chelsea community and a critical element of the Cary Square neighborhood's built environment. As a result, Chelsea residents and community events increasingly utilize Temple Emmanuel's building and grounds as gathering places. In addition to the historic and architectural significance of the exterior of the building itself, in one corner of the Temple's courtyard are two granite monuments bearing the names of Chelsea's Jewish soldiers killed in World Wars One and Two, alongside a flagpole for use in memorial ceremonies. The project’s ultimate maintenance plan will include the preservation of the monuments and flagpole. In addition, realigning the hedges and chain link fencing at the Cary Ave.-Gardner St. corner will significantly improve the monuments' public visibility and make them much more accessible for inclusion in Chelsea's Memorial and Veterans Day ceremonies. Temple Emmanuel seeks support for an on-site assessment during which historic preservation consultant(s) will examine, investigate, and analyze all areas of its building's external envelope, including decorative elements such as exterior trim, wood window frames, front and side entrance doors, and masonry front stairs; thoroughly document these elements' existing conditions and identify envelope deficits through photographs, architectural drawings, and overlay mappings as appropriate; and recommend next steps for stabilization, rehabilitation/restoration, preservation, and maintenance of this significant historical resource, including projects sequencing, budgets, and schedules.

This project will fund the creation of 27 units of housing for low income seniors.

Temple Landing II will develop senior, ADA compliant housing in the existing Temple Landing neighborhood. This project will fund the creation of 26 units for low-income seniors.
