Funding for the improvement and rehabilitation of the Richard Brown Memorial Playground at Pingree Park, including all incidental and related costs.

Funding for completing a comprehensive Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP). The Town has not had an approved OSRP since 2001, over fifteen years ago. The plan will be updated by the Open Space and Recreation Committee with the assistance of Town staff and a consultant group who will be chosen once the funding is in place. Success for this project will be measured by the publication of the plan and the plan's approval by the State.

RENOVATION OF WINTHROP PLAYGROUND

RENOVATION WORK TO BELL & CLOCK TOWER. Original project appropriation was for $64,100 for the bell and clock tower, but after negotiations for the grant agreement and preservation restriction, the project scope was reduced to just the clock repairs at the value of $14,100. Work was completed by the First Church and the project was closed out.
