Tree Removal from Howland and Pine Grove Cemeteries

2019-5: This is the 3rd phase of projects for Bliss Park (Also see Bliss Park Guardrails and Signage and Bliss Park Open Space and Recreation Phase 2). A number of trees in the tree belt along the park corridor on Laurel Street have been removed of damaged over the years. This project will allow for new trees to be purchased and planted along the corridor.

Prepare structural feasibility study on Tremont Nail Factory complex

For the downpayment on the historic Tremont Nail Factory, including 7.2 acres of land, some of which will allow recreational access to water on the property. Total purchase price $1.392,889.00 by Town of Wareham from WH Maze Co (6/30/2004).

To restore the 1896 Tremont Temple Baptist Church by funding comprehensive masonry and building envelope repairs.

To see if the Town will vote, pursuant to G.L. c.44B, to appropriate from Community Preservation Fund Community Housing Reserves Account monies, the amount of $74,910.00 (Seventy Four Thousand nine hundred ten dollars) to be allocated to the Georgetown Housing Authority for the purpose of replacing roofs on the Housing Authority buildings on Laurel Lane and Spruce Lane. Any funds from this appropriation remaining unspent after a period of 3 years from the date of the approval of this article will be returned to the Community Preservation fund only after a vote by the Community Preservation Committee determining that it is unlikely the remaining appropriated funds will need to be spent to this effect; or take any other action in relation thereto;

To fund the replacement of roofs of the buildings located at 4, 17, 19, 21 and 31 Trestle Way and to authorize the Board of Selectmen, in consultation with the Community Preservation Committee, to enter into a grant agreement with the owners of Trestle Way, including a requirement that the owners of Trestle Way grant to the Town an affordable housing restriction in those buildings

This project is part of an ongoing lake management effort to maintain the water quality of the town lakes. This water quality analysis will support and enhance the lake management initiatives established under a the Tri-Lakes Watershed Protection Plan.

Tri-Lakes Water Quality Baseline Analysis on Lakes Arcadia, Holland, and Metacomet

Construction of a new roof over a newly completed ramp to the Parish House and repair of two leaks in building

Restore the Parish House and Rectory Porch, and the chimney on the south side of the church building facing the Rectory. This project is part of the Church's broader improvement strategy

Continue restoration of the Trinity Church's stained glass windows.

Exterior renovations to vacant, deteriorated house in McKnight National Register District

install a weather resistant sign at Triphammer Park.

This project restored an historic trolley shelter from the 1920s. Design was funded by the Town. This is construction funding.

To rehabilitate the Trotter Elementary schoolyard by creating a vibrant and safe playground that accommodates children ages 4-12 and includes sensory play equipment for children of varying abilities.

Update the Truro Historic Properties Inventory with newly eligible structures and midcentury modern homes.

Survey and related work to obtain listing on National Register of Historic Places for various cemetaries and historical churches and buildings throughout Truro

For administrative costs, including expenses and attorney fees, for the Truro Housing Authority operations

The Trustees is seeking funding through the City of Gloucester CPA to improve and expand the parking at Ravenswood Park, increasing public access to meet the existing demand, addressing safety concerns by reducing illegal parking along route 127 that puts visitors at risk, and making the entrance welcoming to all visitors.

Reconstruction of 8 pairs of shutters and two awnings.

Repair/conserve historic garden fence.
