$36,276.62 from the CPA Housing Reserve Fund as requested by the Southborough Affordable Housing Trust. Monies will be used for the purchase and/or construction of new affordable housing in accordance with the Southborough Affordable Housing Trust rules and regulations, and in compliance with the Community Preservation Act. Said funds to be expended under the direction of the Community Preservation Committee, or do or act anything in relation thereto

To see if the Town will vote to appropriate $100,000 of which $36,329.54 is from the CPA Housing Reserve Fund and $63,670.46 is from the CPA General Unreserved Fund, as requested by the Southborough Affordable Housing Trust. Monies will be used for the purchase and/or construction of new affordable housing in accordance with the Southborough Affordable Housing Trust rules and regulations, and in compliance with the Community Preservation Act. Said funds to be expended under the direction of the Community Preservation Committee, or take any other action thereto.

Homeownership Resale Funds are used to assist in maintaining the City's stock of affordable homeownership units to ensure that units remain in good condition throughout their affordability term. Funds are used to assume temporary ownership of units when units require rehab prior to being sold to eligible new homebuyers.

Funding to identify and evaluate the feasibility of acquiring real property suitable for creating homeownership units affordable to households with incomes up to 100% of area median.

To support one affordable housing unit to serve low-income individuals with disabilities.

Additional funds were needed in order to secure homes that are in foreclosure.

In this affordable housing program, the Town will purchase deed restrictions on existing housing units in Stow, ensuring that the unit remains functionally affordable in perpetuity. To be affordable; housing units, when they are sold, must be sold to individuals or families who earn less than 80% of the median household income for this area.

The funds will be used for the purchase, repair and marketing of new affordable rental units in Eastham.

Purchase of fencing to surround the new handicap accessible playground

An outdoor adult gym area available and open to the public year round to encourage adult fitness. This area is right next to the playground. Parents can work out while their children play. Done through the Town Park Department.

Administrative expenses paid to Franklin regional housing authority for Home Ownership Assistance Project and Down-payment Assistance Project

Dianna has been attending online Zoom meetings with organizations such as Mass Housing Partnership, Dept. of Community Housing Development (DHCD), North Shore Home Consortium, Merrimack Valley Planning Commission etc. She has also developed working relationships with other private, local and state entities – this would include Harborlight Communities, Planning Board, Georgetown Administrator, Conservation Commission, ZBA, Building Dept., BOH – as well as others as necessary. Her responsibilities and duties have grown a great deal from where the AHT was the previous year. Dianna will also begin training through the state to become a Certified Lottery Listing Agent.
