Preservation of monument

To purchase land on the corner of River St. and Meadowbrook Ln.

Acquisition of a parcel of land for permanent use as open space, passive recreation, and agriculture. The entire parcel is 322 acres, with the Town owning 186 of those acres and the Groton Conservation Trust owning 136 acres. The Town holds a conservation restriction on the Groton Conservation Trust land and Mass Department of Fisheries and Wildlife holds a conservation restriction on the Town's land. To protect town records covering more than 300 years

For demolition and removal of the buildings and septic system to create open space on the Norris property so that the Town can comply with the requirements of the conservation restriction on the property

To hire a professional consultant to advise the Prescott School's application for National Historic Register designation. NHR designation will provide national recognition of the historic nature of this building and protect it from any potential demolition

Town Clock

For the design, permitting, and construction public access to two town landings on the North River at Bridge Street and at the end of Chittenden Lane.

For a feasibility study to investigate issues associated with renovating a town-owned building dating from 1887.

For a conservation fund to be managed by the Conservation Commission, for the purpose of open space acquisition

To fund an environmental and engineering assessment of a 0.9 mile section of the Peterborough and Shirley railroad.

To conduct feasibility and pre-development study on parcel of land on Nashua Road owned by the Groton Housing Authority

To acquire a parcel of land for aquifer protection, potential well field location, and/or affordable housing

To archive and preserve historic town documents(old birth and marriage certificates) and memorabilia and relocate these items to the Sparrell School Building to be displayed

Design, permitting and construction of pedestrian or bicycle pathways in Norwell.

Purchase of Sergeant Samuel Stetson House for historical preservation purposes.

Historic preservation of Stetson Ford House

This is a buy-down of a single unit using affordable housing trust funds that were previously appropriated. There was a DHCD deed rider attached to the housing unit previously and the CPC decided to maintain this unit as affordable unit through a buy-down.

To the Conservation Commission for open space acquisition

rehab and capital improvement of existing dock, access to the island, new parking areas, install picnic tables + amenities, new ADA compliant canoe launch

Purchase of easements or deed restrictions or agricultural restrictions on Loring Farm property.
