The Campanile is part of the Municipal Group, completed in 1913 and includes City Hall and Symphony Hall. The Campanile is built of steel and clad in limestone. Limestone pieces have been falling, and the area is now fenced off. The study will examine how the iconic structure can be restored

Non-native invasive Japanese knotweed is growing in park and conservation land. This program will target it along the Connecticut River Walk, a 3.7 mile walking/biking trail, and in the four conservation areas with walking trails.

The City of Springfield Office of Housing has operated a home buyers program for many years. Its funding sources have limited assistance to households making less than 80% AMI. CPA funds will allow the program to reach households making between 80% and 100% AMI.

Walking trails in conservation areas are largely unknown and unused recreational resources. CPA will help erect signs at four walking trails: Abbey Brook in Liberty Heights, Delta Hills in East Springfield, White Cedar Bog in Pine Point, and Garvey Promontory in Sixteen Acres

The Reading Garden will feature a brick plaza with seating under a pergola with wi-fi access.

The River Walk is a 3.7 mile walking/biking trail along the banks of the Connecticut River. CPA funds will help create and erect interpretative historic and natural history signs along the trail as well as banners at trail entrances to promote the underused recreational resource

Renovation of vacant, deteriorated early 20th century 10-unit apartment building in the Ridgewood Local Historic District. CPA to assist with exterior features.

Replace leaking roof on the Science Museum, which is part of the Quadrangle-Mattoon Street Local Historic District

Rehab Atwater Park at Springfield and Cunningham Street. Install a fountain and benches

Rebuild deteriorated basketball courts in this East Springfield park

Add benches, picnic tables, and trash receptacles to this playground in the Old Hill neighborhood.
