The recently completed cemetery Master Plan documents a large number of gravestones in all three Whately cemeteries in extreme need of restoration and stabilization. This first phase of the project will complete the work on those stones in the poorest condition.

Phase II of the project will complete the digitization of Whately's oral history cassette tapes and produce CD's of the histories for circulation at the library and for the Society's collection.

To purchase metal shelving and a dehumidifier for the preservation of historical town records being stored in town offices.

This project will fund the restoration and cleaning of the elaborate exterior and interior paintings on the 1891 safe in the old Town Hall by a professional conservator.

To fund a portion of the purchase of a conservation restriction and recreational trails on 120 acres of land off Chestnut Plain Road.

To fund another phase of the Town's gravestone restoration project.

The funds will rehabilitate the existing memorial park. The existing memorial stone will be reoriented to face east and additional stones installed to commemorate veterans of other wars. There will be a low stone wall at the rear of the stones, granite benches and a relocated sidewalk. Existing plantings will be removed and new ones installed.

To expand the existing ice rink, add a small 'toddler' rink, and add lighting and other improvements.

To fund the paving of the field's driveway, parking area and paths as well as renovations of the rest rooms for modernization and to make one of the three fully accessible.

Renovation of the existing tennis courts at Frontier Regional High School, including but not limited to the installation of a new surface, fences and nets.

Restoration of one of three masonry silos at Quonquont Farm, including but not limited to the replacement of the roof and repair/ restoration of the masonry tiles.
